Lüstgas - N20

ll

This is music I never listen to.
If you’re looking for pointless pop music, Lüstgas’ album is perfect for you...

All songs are in Norwegian and they are all hilarious. You can’t take this seriously, because this is a perfect example of guys with too much time on their hands.

The production is good but that’s about it… But I’ve got to say I nearly tore my head off and fed it to my ass during the listen through…

Lüstgas – N20
INKCD 012

IV

First of all, this CD only contains Norwegian language. I think it’s kind of pity because this is cool music, well produced and topped with sarcastic lyrics. Although the overall production is good, I feel part of the CD a bit boring, mainly because of the lack of more catchy tunes.

Track one, “Redd for klisjéer” (Afraid of cliché’s) is the commercial winner of the album.

Smith & Langrind are long time partners in music, and for those interested, their band Paralgin Forte (http://www.k-smith.com/paralgin.htm) is the rockier version of Lüstgas.

N20 touches the acoustic and more popish music, beside the modest flirting with early 80’s new wave, the lyrics are well written and thematic in their storytelling, and with a critically sight against the society.

Recommended tracks 1,2,8 & 11
