Dead Sheriff - By All Means

”Wow! This is great.” My first thought when I put this cd into the player. The opening song “Barrel of Wood” really knocked me off. Could this really be the band I heard live for a few years ago? Eigil Moe’s voice is better than ever; the guitar licks are really tight. This cd contains a lot of great rock songs like Hellalujah! And Aim On You.

But after I’d heard the cd over some times it hit me that I had heard this album before. Just in another versions. I can’t seem to find what makes this band special from all the other bands which play rock n roll music in turbonegro-style. It is surprisingly many of the songs that sound the same. Especially the chorus in: Night Life and Million Dollar Smile. This is a really turndown for me, who likes music with much variation.

But I think this cd will appeal to the fans of this kind music. With some really great songs and some not so good, I believe it will fit great.
