ANGRY BREW - 4 CL
The only thought that struck me during the opening track was, “ok, this demo is going to be a predictability-test, and I should reach top score without too much effort”. Evidently, my gut feeling proved to be right. ANGRY BREW is in general plain and traditional heavy metal.

The vocal is tonal with a crude edge to it, often carrying tails of vibrato. Riffs are mainly rough and driving, but do possess a small “shredding character” as the rhythm guitars occasionally deviate from base motif through various fills.
It is also incorporated a rich use of nines here, making the power chords sound a bit more interesting. AND, the standard amount of soli is present, of course.
Basslines are minimalistic in the sense that they either ramble with the guitars in unison (both melodically and rhythmically) or remain pumping in tonika throughout the respective keys - everything on a 4/4-signature fundament that comprises rare, if any, changes in beat.
With this being a demo, I do not wish to comment on sound or production. Deficiencies in such terms can/will be corrected on a full-length album.
If you consider yourself a traditionalist when it comes to heavy metal, ANGRY BREW might be more than appealing. Apart from certain incidents where tightness falters, this is altogether a well-recorded demo consisting of four songs done pretty much by the book. Conventional? Yes, but it definitely works - to an extent.
